Biography
“Nature is the dream, and I am her wanderer.”
Angie Weiland-Crosby is a nature writer, novelist, and inspirational quote creator whose work reflects a lifelong connection to the natural world. As a child, she spent countless hours in the forest, nurturing the imagination that continues to shape her voice. That connection is reflected in her popular blog posts, soulful nature quotes, and debut novel Scarlet Oak, which have reached a global audience. Angie has also collaborated with Eberhard Grossgasteiger, an acclaimed nature photographer based in South Tyrol, Italy, pairing his mood-evoking imagery with her reflective words to create visual stories that resonate with viewers.
Angie’s inspirational quotes and seasonal sayings have been featured by Reader’s Digest, Good Housekeeping, Today, First Magazine, Seventeen, Yahoo, and Country Living. Her blog post, 100+ Autumn Quotes and Fall Quotes to Enchant the soul, has become a yearly favorite for autumn lovers and has ranked in Google’s top ten for autumn quotes, fall quotes, and autumn captions.
Angie’s love for her daughter, Summer, often fuels her writing. Summer has autism, and Angie’s novel, Scarlet Oak, is both an ode to nature and a tribute to autism acceptance, and the beauty of diversity. Written in a lyrical literary fiction style that embraces difference, the novel has resonated deeply with readers. Through grief, love, hope, and resilience, Scarlet Oak explores the human experience in all its struggle and wonder.
Angie Weiland-Crosby graduated cum laude from St. Mary’s College of Maryland with a degree in English. She began her career in Los Angeles as a Hollywood story analyst for Di Novi Pictures and Creative Artists Agency (CAA), then worked as a teacher before continuing as an educator in Annapolis, Maryland.
